Who's Holding The Room

I'm Sofie.
What I teach, I've lived.

I understand. I've been there.

I'm Dutch, living in Europe, and I've been speaking French for over 20 years. Mother, big traveller, creator with too many ideas for one lifetime. I've never been good at keeping my life in neat little boxes, and I have no intention of starting now.

If you're here, maybe you're standing at a crossroads. You don't quite recognise yourself anymore. You feel that something has to change, without knowing yet what. I know that fog. I've been through it, more than once.

Transitions? I know them.

  • Moving countries, and rebuilding my life in another language.
  • Becoming a mother, and learning not to lose myself behind that role.
  • Leaving a safe job to live from what makes me come alive.
  • Closing a business I had built for years, to dare what comes next.
  • My 40th birthday, and the word that arrived: Crossroads. (What others might call a midlife crisis.)
  • A physical transformation: from a shaved-head tomboy to fully embodied femininity.
  • A diagnosis that changed everything in my body, and learning a new way of living I hadn't chosen.
  • Depression, a spiritual awakening, the end of a long-term relationship, losing my sense of meaning…
Believe me, I know these too.

And every time, I found the same stages: what is ending, what we let go of, the blur of the in-between, the woman we choose to become, and the moment we finally take action.
That's where the Crossroads Method™ was born.

Sofie qui regarde au loin, en noir et blanc

Nobody prepares us for this.

There's a moment in life when you know you're no longer the old version of yourself. But you don't know yet who you're becoming. You no longer really know what you want, where to go, or how to get there.

We often think it's enough to decide. "OK, I get it, I'm changing." And boom, overnight, life follows. But that's not how it works. Your head already knows you're not the same anymore. Your reality hasn't changed yet. And that's exactly what makes it hard.

Clarity is missing, landmarks are missing, meaning is missing. You're looking for a direction, and the energy to move forward. You feel alone and misunderstood, because how can you explain what you're going through when you don't know yet what you want?

A transition period comes in so many versions…

All these periods have one thing in common: they challenge you, help you heal and grow. They lead you somewhere better, even if you can't see it yet.

But they can last a very, very long time when you go through them alone. That's exactly when to get support. Not because you're weak. Because you deserve for this period to become a real transition. So you can start living again. For real.

Transition periods are my speciality.
Today, I'm here to guide you with the Crossroads Method™.

Discover the Crossroads Method™

Born to be a Woman Who Lives Out Loud.

My mission: to show other women how to step out of the fog, take action, and become that fully alive woman again.

Joy, my compass.

Have you noticed? When you're an adult and full of joy, people wonder what you've been smoking. As if joy weren't normal. When in fact, it's our natural state. I know it: when I'm not in my joy, I'm not myself.

A woman in her joy isn't frivolous. She is incredibly powerful. She's lit up, magnetic, connected to herself. She laughs louder, thinks bigger, moves faster. And everything flows more easily.

That's why joy is part of the way I work. A transition period can feel heavy, not very joyful. That's exactly why, together, we bring the joy back. Because joy is what gives you the energy to move forward.

Which path do you choose?
